R.I.P., Comic Book Guy
Rory Root, owner of my favorite comic shop ever, died today from surgery complications. This makes me really sad; not only did he run a kickass comic shop that's consistently gone out of its way to support creators and fans alike, but he was also just a really nice guy, always with a friendly greeting, a funny story, and great comic suggestions for me and anyone else I brought into the store. We'll miss you, man. Wherever you are now, I hope it's fantabulous.
